Diving is a fun, relaxing, exhilarating and rewarding experience. 70% of the world’s surface is under water so why not learn to dive to access the beauty and wonder of the underwater world? You can start with a discover scuba experience to see if it’s for you, or you can jump right in with the Open Water Course.
The Open water has three parts: theory, confined water dives and open water dives. You can complete part of your training here in the UK and then either complete it with us, or complete the open water section on holiday. We also offer the option to complete the open water dives overseas in Portugal over a long weekend with a UK run dive school.
The added bonus of our school is you can keep practising once you’ve certified. You can join the club and get free access to the pool sessions, or you can pay for each session you attend. The active club can provide buddies for open water diving. This will increase your proficiency in the water but also your confidence, meaning you can enjoy your diving even more!
You need to complete a medical form first. If you answer yes to any questions you will need to get a medical from a doctor first to confirm you are fit for diving. We recommend Dr Mark Downs who is an experienced diver and is able to advise with medication and conditions and their impact specifically on diving.
